Time of day evaluation
Choosing what time of day to film meant that we had to take several factors into account. One of the most obvious being lighting. This was difficult as our group had imagined our trailer to take place with daylight. Problems associated with this however would be trying to plan our filiming scheduele so it only happens when daylight is present. This can be quite difficult in the Autum and Winter season as there is a limited amount of daylight and the majority of that time is spent in school/work. After we finally established a time that all our group could film, we took test shots to see if we could achieve the effect of a dark-ish tone of the trailer in the daylight in the editing program. As the picture above taken during filming depicts, filming during the nightime stronly limits the amount that the camera can pick up. The can be used in certain scenes where we do not require specific details to be notice or recognised by the audience. The darkness and ambiguity can even be used to our advantage, adding a creepy effect to the scene.

The picture above shows a picture from a scene of us filming during the day. Filming during the day increases what the camera can recieve and lets the footage pick up details and close ups well, as well as increasing the cameras horizon, to pick up objects fair away. However to still add an erie feel to the footage so it feels more like a horror trialer, we would have to add an effect on the footage to give it that horror atnosphere. (SR)
