IMDB
IMDb is a critic and user based website in which reviews new and upcoming films and gives them a rating out of ten and a small review. For our personal inquiries and needs the site offered an insight into professional reviews within the film industry. From viewing the website we could see what zombie horror was popular and therefore take inspiration from the success in them and how it was achieved. (TB)
When entering the IMDb website the user is faced with the three most newest trailers or teaser trailers of new and upcoming films. The three change dailey allowing the user to see what new films are being released and when it will happen. This was a great help to us as we could see what the new films included within their trailers and hopefully take some inspiration from the highly rated and reviewed trailers.

When typing in the genre of zombie within IMDb's search bar it gives the user a variety of different films new and old and also what order they have been ranked in. The high ratings and meta-score of the film show that zombie films are popular with the average person. As most of our target audience will be an average movie viewer, it makes sense that we should base our horror trailer around films that are popular with them, rather than trying to bring back a more abstract genre, like psychological. From the users reviews we could see that the character who was played by Brad Pitt was a very important icon within the film and many people stated that his characters role was one of the strong points in the film. With this genre following our own we have taken influence by the IMDb's user comments and made our main characters very important within our teaser trailer therefore hopefully following the success of "World War Z". From the above screen shot you can see the various ages of people voting/scoring the film. With target audiences being a hard thing to conclude upon this was a great help to our group as we could tell what age category was into zombie horror and particularly the successful film "World War Z" . This therefore helped our own trailer appeal to the set age group as we knew who they were and what they liked about the zombie genre. From this particular film "World War Z" the most popular age in people voting mainly stayed around the category of under 18s and in particular girls under 18. This not only helps us to decide what age to appeal to but also what age to set for the audience watching our films in which our film has chosen to be a 15. With the most reviews and scores coming from the under 18 genre we can now set our own teaser trailer to head in their direction and suit their expectations in hope that we can create a successful teaser trailer.
